Mark Le, MD, RPVI, is a board-certified interventional radiologist diagnosing and treating patients at Heart Vascular and Leg Center in Bakersfield, California. Dr. Le offers comprehensive vascular and interventional radiology services to individuals living in and around Kern County.
Dr. Le earned his Bachelor of Science in biochemistry at UCLA in 2007. Then, in 2013, he went on to complete his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine in Iowa City, where he was a Carver College of Medicine Dean's Scholar.
Dr. Le completed a two-year general surgery residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, before completing a diagnostic radiology residency at Wayne State University in Detroit in 2018. In 2019, he finished a vascular and interventional radiology fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
Today, Dr. Le is board certified in diagnostic radiology and a registered physician in vascular interpretation. He also maintains professional affiliations with the American College of Radiology, the American Roentgen Ray Society, the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR), and the World Conference on Interventional Oncology.
To help share his knowledge and findings with others in his field, Dr. Le has helped author numerous publications and presented at several professional conferences.
